About the program
Young women from abroad doing a year of Sherut Leumi (Israeli national service).
Not a seminary: the site presents Shalem as a gap-year program built around a year of Sherut Leumi (national service) for women, done through the Bat Ami organization. World Bnei Akiva provides airport pickup, help settling in, a service placement, housing coordination, Shabbat hospitality and additional programming.
